Phi Delta Theta is first and foremost an education oriented society. A main goal of the Fraternity is to help young men excel in academics. To assist in this, Phi Delta Theta offers many educational scholarships, ranging from $500 to $2500 per year to active Canadian students.
In addition to financial awards, the local chapter of Alberta Alpha also yearly distributes current University of Alberta actives awards based on a number of categories. Categories are based on academics and chapter participation; awards range from Highest GPA (based on academics) to Phi of the Year (based on service to Alberta Alpha).
