David joined the Ontario Beta Chapter at Western University in 1995 and currently sits on the chapter’s advisory board as well as on the Kleberg curriculum committee. He is currently a full time faculty member and the AMBA Faculty Director at the Ivey Business School.
In addition to teaching, David has written several internationally published cases and articles on operational improvements and corporate restructuring. Prior to joining the faculty at Ivey, he spent twelve years in industry working for his family business as the US Sales Director, Vice-President Manufacturing, and President. David has also worked as an independent consultant to business executives in strategic planning and operational restructuring. The companies that David has worked with include those in the defense industry, distribution, construction, commercial equipment, and manufacturing. In addition to his duties at Ivey he sits on three private corporate boards, including as the chairman for Danby Products (marketing and distribution of residential appliances).
